A report has surfaced claiming that an Achilles heel in the weak US encryption standards from the 1990s could leave many websites vulnerable to spoofing and snooping. Researchers from France and the US call the newly discovered flaw “FREAK,” which apparently arises from “a class of deliberately weak export cipher suites… introduced under the pressure...
